- Will ResumeKaro add fake skills or experience to my resume?
- No. Tailoring only reorders and rewords what is already in your profile, and any skill that isn’t in your profile is removed before your resume is saved. When a job asks for something you don’t have, we show it as a gap instead of claiming it.
- What is an ATS and why does it matter?
- An applicant tracking system is the software most companies use to receive and filter applications. It reads your resume as text and looks for the skills and titles the recruiter asked for. Our ATS check shows what it would find, what it would miss, and layout problems such as tables or images that confuse it.
- Does ResumeKaro apply to jobs for me on Naukri or LinkedIn?
- We never log in to job portals on your behalf. The browser extension works inside your own browser session and only when you click — it fills forms and saves jobs to your tracker, and you review before submitting.
- Is ResumeKaro free? What does it include?
- ResumeKaro is free while we launch — there is nothing to pay. Every month you get 3 tailored resumes, 3 cover letters or messages, 3 ATS checks and 3 resume imports; the limits reset on the 1st. Form autofill with the browser extension is unlimited, and you can keep 3 saved resumes and use the tracker without limits.
- Is my resume data safe?
- Your files and profile are encrypted at rest, visible only to you, and never sold or shared with employers. When we use AI to write for you, we send only what the task needs — contact details and salary are left out. You can delete your data at any time.
- I’m a fresher. Will this help me?
- Yes. The Fresher template leads with your education, projects and internships, and the tailoring works just as well with projects and coursework as with job experience.
- Can I edit what the AI writes?
- Everything is editable: resumes in a live editor with preview, and letters and messages as plain text. Always read what you send — you know your experience best.
